Highlights of the activities driven by FSHD Spain on World FSHD Day

On World FSHD Day, FSHD Spain organized and promoted a series of impactful activities to raise awareness about facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy across the country:

• Interview to two young Spanish attendees to the recent FSHD Connect conference published on a national-wide digital newspaper.

• Interview to our FSHD Association president published on the website of the Nursing College and on first page in a regional physical newspaper.

• Illumination of 210 town halls and monuments around the country, and where this was not feasible, they published the FSHD day on their websites and social media.

• Press-release sent to all FSHD Spain supporting companies and all involved municipalities.

• An FSHD Spain member organized a formal act in a city hall where he gave a speech to increase awareness of the disease.

• Instagram special June 20th. social media campaign reaching over 9,000 accounts and 12,000 views with 163 new followers.

• Facebook special June 20th. social media campaign reaching over 8,000 accounts and 12 with 38 new followers
